New Vision Nursing Ltd is a limited company registered in England (Company No. 15991895).
The Director, Alex Penfold, is a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and practises in accordance with The Code: Professional standards of practice and behaviour for nurses, midwives and nursing associates (2018).
Alex also holds qualifications in systemic practice and therapeutic approaches for children, young people and families.
New Vision Nursing Ltd operates as a nurse-led independent practice providing therapy, consultancy, training and mental health assessment (not diagnostic assessments).
These services do not fall under the scope of registration with the Care Quality Commission (CQC), because they do not include regulated activities such as the provision of treatment by a multidisciplinary team, medical care, or accommodation with nursing or personal care.
Instead, all clinical work is governed by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) professional standards and code of conduct.
This means that, while New Vision Nursing Ltd is still bound by clear legal, ethical and professional frameworks ensuring that all care is safe, accountable and evidence-based.
Clients and organisations can therefore be assured that the practice adheres to robust governance processes, including professional indemnity insurance, clinical supervision, safeguarding procedures and data protection compliance.
New Vision Nursing Ltd and Alex Penfold hold full professional indemnity, public liability and medical malpractice insurance for all aspects of clinical and consultancy work.
Insurance is provided through a specialist healthcare provider and meets or exceeds NMC requirements for nurses in independent practice.
Evidence of insurance can be provided to commissioners, organisations or clients upon request.
New Vision Nursing Ltd is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) for data protection compliance.
All records are stored securely in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
